QUIET PAPER

The Quiet Paper series is created from handmade rag paper pulped from worn military uniforms (known as Combat Paper) through traditional papermaking processes. From this paper, I've created work experimenting with a variety of process and materials; collagraphs, cyanotypes, image transfers, digital prints, pulp prints, and paper casts exploring ideas surrounding trauma, transformation, family and healing through both abstraction and representational imagery. This is an on-going body of work that continues to develop and evolve.
